Working Hours: 5 days per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm (30-minute break)

Hourly Rate: Up to £33 per hour (Band 7)

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Oncology Pharmacist to join a prestigious private hospital in Central London. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert pharmaceutical care to oncology patients, with a focus on haematology oncology, ensuring safe and effective medication management, and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispensing and verifying chemotherapy and oncology medications (oral and IV SACT)
• Releasing SACT for administration
• Providing patient counselling on SACT and supportive medications
• Reviewing medication regimens and ensuring compliance with treatment protocols
• Monitoring patient responses to treatments and advising on medication adjustments
• Collaborating with the oncology team to ensure optimal patient care

Skills/Experience Required:

• Haematology oncology pharmacist with solid experience in the oncology field
• Good clinical knowledge in haematology-oncology speciality
• Experience verifying oral and IV SACT (chemotherapy) medications
• Experience releasing SACT for administration
• Patient counselling on SACT and supportive medications
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• GPhC registered pharmacist
