Working Hours: 5 days per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm (30-minute break)

Hourly Rate: Up to £33 per hour (Band 7)
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Oncology Pharmacist to join a prestigious private hospital in Central London. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert pharmaceutical care to oncology patients, with a focus on haematology oncology, ensuring safe and effective medication management, and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
Dispensing and verifying chemotherapy and oncology medications (oral and IV SACT)
Releasing SACT for administration
Providing patient counselling on SACT and supportive medications
Reviewing medication regimens and ensuring compliance with treatment protocols
Monitoring patient responses to treatments and advising on medication adjustments
Collaborating with the oncology team to ensure optimal patient care
Skills/Experience Required:
Haematology oncology pharmacist with solid experience in the oncology field
Good clinical knowledge in haematology-oncology speciality
Experience verifying oral and IV SACT (chemotherapy) medications
Experience releasing SACT for administration
Patient counselling on SACT and supportive medications
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
GPhC registered pharmacist
