Position: Year 6 General Teaching Assistant
Start Date: Immediate (as soon as possible)
Contract: Fixed-Term (Until July 2024)

Tradewind Recruitment is supporting a primary school in Kensington and Chelsea in their search for a dedicated Year 6 General Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment with experienced staff, parents, and students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Year 6 class across a range of subjects, ensuring students' individual needs are met
• Work alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons and activities
• Provide targeted support for students in small groups or one-to-one sessions
• Assist with classroom management and the preparation of teaching materials
• Monitor and track students' progress, offering feedback and support
• Contribute to the creation of an inclusive and engaging classroom environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience working as a teaching assistant, preferably in a Year 6 classroom
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for Key Stage 2
• Experience supporting students across the classroom and in small groups
• A passion for helping students achieve their full potential
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A proactive and flexible approach to supporting students
