Description
We have an exciting opportunity for Digital Content Officer. The Digital Content Officer is pivotal in the new technology and digital service, managing updates and content improvements to corporate websites, intranets, and other key websites. The post holder's excellent eye for detail, design and writing skills will be crucial in updating content, analysing web statistics, and using platforms such as Google Analytics and user experience and feedback to ensure the website is easily accessible and useable for our residents, business users, and visitors.
Responsibilities
Responsible for project management and implementing a new website, content, and analytics software to ensure the organisation uses its residents, businesses, and visitors. Work closely with colleagues in Digital, Customer Experience and Technology Transformation to ensure the website is fit for purpose, presenting recommendations for improvement and digital-first to meet the objectives of the Digital and Technology and Customer Access Strategies.
Qualification – Essential
* GCSE Grade (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics.
* Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification
* Advanced –Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Social Media.
Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience Requirements - Criteria-to be Tested at Shortlisting.
* Knowledge of the latest technology trends and solutions.
* Experience in a complex organisation with a strong customer focus, with experience in supporting a large user base.
* Experience working with content management systems, social media channels, and other content systems.
* Experience in dealing with external stakeholders, including suppliers and third-party contractors.
* Developing strong relationships with all levels of the organisation.
* Communication with various people from different backgrounds and levels of the organisation.
* Engaging clearly and confidently with all internal and external stakeholders in various communication formats is crucial for this role, making the audience feel the importance of their interpersonal skills.
* Able to write clearly and effectively.
* Able to influence, negotiate effectively, and deal with conflict calmly and professionally.
* Demonstrates creativity and innovation in solution-finding and achieving initiatives.
* Able to work on own initiatives confidently.
* Able to deliver training to a range of audiences.
