Senior Product Interaction Designer

Job Description:

You will work within the Digital & Interaction team, a cross-functional team where interdisciplinary focus, curiosity and drive are highly valued. We work in close collaboration with all other design departments shaping the mobility experience of the future.

As a product/interaction designer you will work with physical and digital product designs with a focus on usability and interaction improvements. Together with the team you will build and innovate on concepts for the current market, but also more visionary approach where we are able to shape the digi-physical experience of the future. Contribute to the development, evaluation and documentation of novel, multi-modal HMI concepts and information architectures for digital and physical touch points and infotainment.

Specific needs for this role are to be able to sketch and model product designs from both existing ideas and concepts but also innovate new products and services together with the team and build interactive prototypes. It will be combined with contributed work with digital assets and animations toenable and improve innovative HMI concepts.

You will work cross disciplinary to apply systems thinking to information and experience design that engages people through physical and digital touchpoints along a user journey for consumer and business applications.

Qualifications:

Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics and usability in product design.

Ability to create visually appealing and intuitive interfaces and devices.

Good knowledge in creation of detailed UI animations and graphics

Good knowledge of the automotive HMI design process and best-practices

Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams of designers, researchers, engineers, strategists and product managers throughout the design process

Diverse portfolio highlighting projects that demonstrate experience in crafting user interfaces, user friendly devices and aesthetically pleasing animations.

Additional information:

Travels to China may be needed (approx. 1-2 trips per year).
