About the role:
Are you passionate about supporting young children in their early educational journey? We’re seeking a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant (EYFS TA) to join a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Havering, London. In this full-time, long-term role, you’ll play a vital part in shaping the foundational learning experiences of children aged 3-5 years.
Your role will include working closely with the class teacher to deliver a creative, play-based curriculum, providing one-on-one support to students, assisting small groups during key activities, and fostering a nurturing environment where every child feels valued and confident.

Application Requirements:
• Hold a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
• Have experience working with children in an Early Years setting.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be passionate about supporting children’s development and learning.
Key Responsibilities for Early Years TA:
• Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging activities.
• Support children with varying learning needs in small groups or one-to-one settings.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
• Observe and record children's progress, sharing insights with the teaching team.
• Promote positive behaviour and encourage social skills development.
