Rate: £400- £425 per day

Job Description: As a Commissioning Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful completion and handover of water and wastewater treatment projects. You will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing commissioning activities, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure systems meet performance specifications and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and coordinate commissioning activities for water and wastewater treatment facilities.
Conduct pre-commissioning inspections, testing, and start-up operations.
Verify that installed systems comply with design specifications, client requirements, and regulatory standards.
Identify and troubleshoot technical issues during commissioning, providing effective solutions.
Prepare detailed commissioning documentation, including test plans, checklists, and reports.
Collaborate with project managers, design engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless project delivery.
Provide technical support and training to clients and operators during the handover process.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards at all times.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline) or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in commissioning within the water sector, specifically water or wastewater treatment plants.
Strong technical understanding of water treatment processes and systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams and clients.
Knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Proficiency in using relevant software tools for testing and reporting.
A valid driving license and willingness to travel to project sites
