Tradewind Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a secondary school in Havering with their recruitment for a DT specialist this January.

The DT department is well-resourced, with workshops boasting up to date machinery and equipment enabling students to excel within their learning on a practical and theoretical basis.

Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and inspiring DT lessons across Key Stage 3 - 5.

Teaching Product Design to Key Stage 5 is essential

Teaching Construction to KS4 is desired.

Parents Evening attendance

Support with the planning and organising of school trips.

AQA Syllabus

Support with extracurricular sessions

Embrace the role of a form tutor, supporting students' personal growth and development.

Good location, with the school close to a district line station. Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or International equivalent

Enhanced DBS certificate to ensure a safe learning environment.

A strong drive and determination to progress students' technological skills and overall learning.
