Locum Aseptic Pharmacy Technician - NHS Hospital, Buckinghamshire

Hourly Rate: £18 - £23 per hour

Hunter AHP are currently seeking a highly skilled Locum Aseptic Pharmacy Technician to join an NHS hospital in Buckinghamshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a pharmacy technician with aseptic experience to work in a dynamic NHS setting, contributing to the delivery of vital healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing aseptic products, including intravenous (IV) medications and chemotherapy treatments
• Ensuring strict adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
• Working closely with pharmacists and clinical teams to provide safe and effective medications to patients
• Maintaining accurate records of all aseptic preparations
• Assisting with the management of aseptic production areas, ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines
• Supporting stock control and the procurement of relevant pharmaceutical supplies

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in an aseptic pharmacy environment is essential
• Current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) or relevant qualifications
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Full-time availability with the flexibility to work ongoing hours
