Hourly Rate: £28 - £31 per hour

Hunter AHP are currently seeking a highly skilled Locum Clinical Pharmacist to join an NHS hospital in Sussex. This is a fantastic opportunity for a pharmacist with clinical experience to contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care in a dynamic NHS environment. The role is ongoing and offers competitive hourly rates of £28 - £31 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing clinical pharmacy services across various hospital departments
• Conducting medication reviews and optimising medication therapy for patients
• Offering expert advice on the safe and effective use of medications
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best patient outcomes
• Supporting the education and training of healthcare professionals on pharmacological matters
• Reviewing and advising on treatment regimens, particularly for complex cases
• Ensuring compliance with hospital protocols and NHS guidelines

Requirements:

• Previous clinical pharmacy experience in an NHS or hospital setting is essential
• Current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
• Strong clinical knowledge and experience in medication management
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Full-time availability for ongoing hours
