Horticulturalist

Camden, London

Duration: Temp-perm

Pay: 14.00 per hour

Hours: 7:30-3:30pm Monday to Friday

Working within a team you will be responsible for a range of activities from grass cutting, strimming, hedge pruning and flower bed maintenance. You will need to ensure a safe working environment is always maintained and carry out day to day maintenance and safety checks on all equipment.

Responsibilities include:

• Carry out a range of horticultural maintenance activities, in accordance with best horticultural practices.
• Ensure sites are prepared and maintained to an exceptional standard of horticulture, cleanliness and overall appearance.
• Operate and maintain plant and machinery; plan and undertake routine maintenance of tools, equipment, machinery and vehicles; plan and organise machinery and vehicle servicing and repairs.
• Develop quotes and estimates for additional works and special projects.

To succeed, you will need:

• Hold a full valid UK Driving License
• Capable of working safely using a range of equipment and hand tools (strimmers, backpack blowers, push mowers)
• Experience in working in a busy team and providing a high-quality service.
• Horticultural qualifications are preferred but experience will most certainly be considered
