Tradewind Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a secondary school in Havering with their recruitment for a DT specialist this January.

The DT department is well-resourced, with workshops boasting up to date machinery and equipment enabling students to excel within their learning on a practical and theoretical basis.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and inspiring DT lessons across Key Stage 3 - 5.
• Teaching Product Design to Key Stage 5 is essential
• Teaching Construction to KS4 is desired.
• Parents Evening attendance
• Support with the planning and organising of school trips.
• AQA Syllabus
• Support with extracurricular sessions
• Embrace the role of a form tutor, supporting students' personal growth and development.
• Good location, with the school close to a district line station.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or International equivalent
• Enhanced DBS certificate to ensure a safe learning environment.
• A strong drive and determination to progress students' technological skills and overall learning.
• An availability to start on the 1st week in 2025.
