The Role

Timeplan Education are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Headteacher to join the school leadership team from mid January 2025. This role will have a specific focus on behaviour, ensuring that all pupils have the structure, guidance, and support they need to thrive.

• Contract: Long-term sickness cover until the end of the academic year (July 2025) with potential for a permanent role starting in September 2025.
• Salary: In line with the main scale pay and based on experience.
• Essential Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Previous leadership training and experience.
• Previous experience working within an SEN provision.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead on behaviour strategies and initiatives across the school.
• Provide guidance and support to staff to ensure consistency in behaviour management.
• Work closely with parents, carers, and external professionals to support pupils' individual needs.
• Contribute to the strategic leadership of the school alongside the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team.
