Job Description

We are working with a rapidly growing electrically biased M&E contractor with a turnover of £25m and a strong reputation delivering across sectors for leading main contractors who are looking for an MEP Quantity Surveyor (or senior). Reporting to a commercial manager you will based from their head office in Liverpool and have an overview of 2-3 schemes simultaneously (£12m-£18m) with an overview of all relevant commercial activities at all stages of the project life cycle.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Contract

* Prepare Tender Risk Analysis and contract documentation.

* Develop Project Execution Plans and Procurement Strategies.

Contract Management

* Evaluate and negotiate subcontract terms.

* Manage procurement schedules and subcontract documentation.

* Provide advice on contractual claims and ensure compliance with project documentation.

Risk & Change Management

* Maintain variation logs and recover non-liability costs.

* Review site programs for delays and manage commercial risks.

Cost Management

* Generate accurate cost control reports.

* Administer and value subcontractor accounts using financial systems.

Value & Cash Management

* Maximise project value through work measurement and account preparation.

* Ensure positive cash flow through payment administration.

General

* Enhance client relationships to secure future opportunities.

* Present monthly project and business review reports.
