KS2 TA

About the role:

KS2 TA: We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a supportive primary school in Ealing, starting in January 2025. This part-time, ongoing role will involve supporting students, particularly those with English as an Additional Language (EAL), with boosters, interventions, and 1:1 support to help them catch up and excel.

Application Requirements for a KS2 TA:

• Experience working with children, preferably in a TA or support role.

• Understanding of supporting students with EAL or other learning needs

.• Strong communication and organisational skills

.• Passion for working with children and making a difference.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

As a KS2 TA you will:

• Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management

.• Provide 1:1 and small group support to students, particularly those with EAL.

• Help implement intervention strategies to support academic progress

.• Support the emotional and social development of students.

• Assist with preparing learning materials and resources.
