Clearance Labourer (with driving licence)

Location: Covering Chesterfield/Mansfield

Contract Type: Temp to Perm

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am-4pm

Pay Rate: £11.64 per hour (PAYE)

Clearance Labourer Role Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Multiskilled Operative to join the housing team, taking on a variety of tasks related to property clearance. This role involves cleaning and clearing both vacant and occupied properties and gardens, with possible additional duties such as fitting steel barriers, installing mobile alarms, and performing mould eradication (full training provided).

Clearance Labourer Responsibilities:

•    To clean and clear properties to the required standard and which the following duties will be required: 

•    Remove all furniture, carpets, underlay, lino, curtains & blinds from customer properties when required. 

•    Clean the property to ensure that all floors, all doors, skirting boards, internal windows/frames and kitchens (including units) are clean. 

•    Remove all graffiti and garden rubbish (including rubble & fly tipping). 

•    Trim all grassed areas overgrown hedges & sweep all paths. 

•    Remove all old/damaged outbuildings/sheds from customer properties. • Remove needles, bodily fluids & other contaminated objects. 

•    To load and unload the company vehicle in a safe manner and to ensure that the equipment is secure at all times. 

•    To update the workforce management system with relevant updates for each job. 

•    The selection of appropriate stock using the job sheet and relevant client specifications. 

•    Complete all necessary paperwork in line with company specification. 

•    Drive the company van when required

•    To be responsible for company vehicles including basic maintenance ensuring that at all times that the company vehicle policy is adhered 

•    Travelling to customer properties within local area and occasional time spent in branch office, completing paperwork.

Requirements:

•    Full UK Driving Licence (clean, no points or endorsements)

•    Physically fit and capable of performing heavy manual work

•    Flexibility to stay until the day’s work is completed
