Band 7 Locum Dosimetrist - East London

Location: East London area

Hourly Rate: £30-34 per hour

Are you a skilled Dosimetrist looking for a new opportunity? Hunter AHP is currently recruiting for a Band 7 Locum Dosimetrist to join a renowned NHS trust in East London. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a team delivering exceptional patient care in a dynamic radiotherapy physics department. 

Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert dosimetry services for patients undergoing radiation therapy

Collaborate with oncologists and physicists to develop optimal treatment plans

Ensure that all radiation treatment plans meet clinical guidelines and safety standards

Perform accurate calculations and document detailed reports

Essential Requirements:

HCPC registered Dosimetrist or equivalent

Significant experience in radiotherapy treatment planning and dosimetry

Proficiency in the use of treatment planning systems

Desirable Requirements:

Experience in a clinical environment within an NHS trust.

Knowledge of advanced radiotherapy techniques (e.g., IMRT, VMAT, SRS)
