Role: Youth Worker

Location: Manchester

Qualiteach is looking for a youth worker to join a local secondary school in the Manchester area. The role is due to begin on 06/01/2025 and is offered on a full-time basis, 5 days per week.

The position will involve supporting secondary age pupils with behavioural issues primarily across both KS3 & KS4. You will be adaptable, empathetic in your approach and committed to providing ongoing support for the pupils you work with.

Ideally you will have experience of working with pupils with behavioural issues/ SEMH and will have worked in a secondary school or academy setting.

• Experience working with pupils with challenging behaviour
• Empathetic approach
• A skilled and effective communicator
• Able to build rapport quickly
• Right to work in the UK
• An enhanced DBS certificate on the update service
