Premier Recruitment Group has the privilege to recruit on behalf of our very prestigious client based in Dartford, Kent.We are recruiting for experienced and forward thinking Management Accountant . This is full time and initially 6 months contract position with a view of going permanent and working for very well established company. Very interesting and varied role with a scope for progression.Hybrid model is applicable for this role.

Duties:

• Ensure supplier invoices are processed using critical thinking and that the transactions reach the correct Trial Balance codes.
• Manage the selection, approval and payment of supplier invoices within the due date. Liaise with vendors, as needed.
• Timely and correct completion of bank reconciliations.
• Recording of bank receipts and manual payments in SAP.
• Completion of monthly inter-company reconciliations and the relevant confirmations.
• Knowledge of handling transactions in multiple foreign currencies.
• Prepare a number of balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis.
• Lead the AR collection activity on a monthly basis.
• Handle VAT return submissions in Norway, Sweden.
• Keeping the reconciliations and task management on Blackline up-to-date.
• Assist in any internal/external audits.
• Assist Head of Accounting & Compliance in any adhoc project
• Approach the role in a flexible manner, and be prepared to adapt to requirements outside of the immediate role that are essential to the organisation.

Skills / Experience

• Qualified AAT or CAT and studying towards a professional qualification from a recognised accountancy body (e.g. CIMA, ACCA).
• Minimum of 3 years accounts experience.
• SAP experience (highly desirable).
• Experience of Blackline (desirable)
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to use initiative and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
