At our London Nurseries, we are dedicated to providing a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for young children to learn and grow. We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our dedicated team and help deliver high-quality care and education to the children in our setting.

The Role:

As a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily activities of the nursery and helping create a positive and engaging learning environment. You will work directly with children to support their development, ensuring they are safe, well-cared-for, and engaged in meaningful activities. You will also collaborate with other nursery staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for each child.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality care and education for children aged insert age group, e.g., 0-5 years , supporting their learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Create and maintain a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment that promotes children's independence and learning.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate age-appropriate activities to meet the individual needs of each child.
• Observe and assess children's progress, keeping accurate records of their development and sharing these with parents and colleagues.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to each child s care and development.
• Support children s social, emotional, and physical development, encouraging positive behavior and healthy habits.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe nursery environment, adhering to safeguarding and health & safety policies.
• Participate in regular staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds a Level 3 Childcare qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience working with young children in an early years setting is highly desirable.
• A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
• Passionate about supporting children's learning, development, and well-being.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well as part of a team.
• A caring, patient, and nurturing approach to working with children.
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and a commitment to promoting the welfare of children.
• A positive, proactive attitude and a desire to contribute to a supportive and dynamic nursery environment.
