Gas Service Engineer

Hackney Council

Payment per completed service ( 30 Umbrella)

Contract until May with view for extension.

Our client is looking for a professional and reliable Gas Service Engineer to conduct critical servicing and maintenance tasks in residential properties. The primary responsibilities include testing and replacing CO2 detectors and smoke alarms provided by the Council, conducting gas safety inspections, and issuing CP12 certificates through designated phone software. This position requires precision, efficiency, and adherence to health and safety regulations.

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications and attributes:

• Essential Certifications: Gas Safe certification.
• Experience: Proven track record as a Gas Service Engineer.
• Equipment: Own tools, smartphone or compatible device, and a reliable van/car for transportation.
• Skills: Strong technical abilities, attention to detail, and the capability to use designated software for issuing CP12 certificates.
• Additional Requirements: Valid driving license and ability to work independently.

Note: Parking permits and necessary CO2 detectors and smoke alarms will be supplied by our client. Travel expenses are not reimbursed.
