Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

Location: Colchester

Start Date: Immediate Start

Salary: £80 - £95 per day

TeacherActive is excited to be working with a well-established Primary School in Colchester, who are looking to appoint a dedicated Learning Support Assistant. This school is known for its inclusive and nurturing approach to education, ensuring that every child receives the support they need to thrive academically and emotionally.

The school is looking for a driven and caring Learning Support Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis, with the potential for a permanent role for the right candidate. The successful applicant will be providing support across both Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2), working closely with students who may need additional help with their learning.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:

• Experience supporting children in a primary school setting
• A strong understanding of how to engage and motivate children with varying needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
