Our Client is seeking a UAT Test Manager on an initial 3-month contract with the possibility of an extension.
Start Date: ASAP - 3 Month Contract
Pay Rate: £435.00 Per Day PAYE (Umbrella also available)
Location: W8 7NX
Working Hours: 36 Hours Per Week, Mon - Fri, 09:00 - 17:00
Job Purpose:
UAT Planning and Strategy
Stakeholder Management
Test Script Creation and Execution
Issue Identification and Resolution
Support and Engagement of Testers
Reporting and Documentation (Test Reports)
Continuous Improvement ManagementMain Duties and Responsibilities:
Test Planning and Strategy Development:
Develop comprehensive UAT test plans and strategies aligned with project objectives.
Define testing scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
Team Leadership and Management:
Led and mentor a team of UAT testers, ensuring effective resource allocation and task distribution.
Provide guidance and support to team members throughout the testing process.
Test Execution and Reporting:
Oversee the execution of UAT test cases, ensuring adherence to defined processes and standards.
Monitor and report on testing progress, identifying and addressing any issues or risks.
Stakeholder Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for all UAT-related communications.
Collaborate with project managers, developers, and business analysts to ensure alignment on testing objectives and outcomes.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure that all testing activities comply with company procedures and relevant regulatory guidelines.
Advocate for best practices and continuous improvement in testing processes.Skills and Experience:
Qualification- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong Knowledge of Azure Dev Ops
Previous experience working in Local Authority
Previous Test Manager experience
Proven experience managing UAT activities for complex software such as CRM
Extensive experience in building and maintaining stakeholder relationships within complex projects.
