Hospital Opportunity - Locum Pharmacy Technician required NHS Hospital Outpatients ASAP Start

A large NHS Trust in Hertfordshire is seeking a Locum Pharmacy Technician to join their Outpatient Department for an immediate start. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced environment, offering valuable experience in the NHS hospital setting.

Position Details:

• Role: Locum Pharmacy Technician
• Location: NHS Hospital, Hertfordshire
• Department: Outpatients Dispensary
• Start Date: ASAP January 2025 (initially for 3-6 months, with potential for extension)
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (30-minute lunch break). Part-time hours may be considered.
• Rate of Pay: £17 - £21 per hour (via Umbrella)

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispensing prescriptions within the Outpatient Department.
• Supporting the delivery of pharmaceutical care to patients in the outpatient setting.
• Ensuring accurate medication dispensing and patient safety.
• Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality service.

Requirements:

• GPhC registration is essential.
• Previous NHS hospital experience is preferred but not essential.
• Experience in an outpatient dispensary setting is beneficial.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
