Job Description

A Teacher of Design Technology, Food Technology and Textiles is required for a lovely secondary school in the Yarm area of Stockton. The successful candidate will deliver the subjects of Design Technology, Food Technology and Textiles across KS3 and KS4. This is a full time role will begin 10th March 2025 until December 2025 to cover a maternity leave. The school is mixed sex and has supportive and friendly staff and managers.

The ideal eacher of Design Technology, Food Technology and Textiles candidate would:

• Have good classroom management skills
• Have a passion for working as a Teacher of Design Technology, Food Technology and Textiles
• Have excellent subject knowledge
• Be able to organise themselves
• Be able to plan effective, engaging Design Technology, Food Technology and Textiles lessons across KS3 and KS4

We are keen to hear from both experienced teachers or ECTs.

To apply for this Design Technology, Food Technology and Textiles position with Premier Teachers you must hold QTS or QTLS. Please note thatthis role is only open to teachers between M1 to M6.

In addition, you must:

• Have a DBS form or be prepared to obtain one
