Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Highways 2D Design Technician to join our dynamic team in London. The successful candidate will contribute to the design and delivery of highways improvement schemes, active travel routes, and bus priority projects. This role requires expertise in Autodesk AutoCAD 2D and a passion for creating efficient and sustainable transport solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Produce high-quality 2D design drawings using Autodesk AutoCAD for highways improvement schemes, active travel routes, and bus priority projects.

Collaborate with engineers, planners, and project managers to develop and refine design concepts that meet project specifications and standards.

Ensure compliance with relevant design standards, codes, and regulations, including DMRB and local authority requirements.

Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, including design reports, schedules, and specifications.

Participate in site visits and surveys to collect data and ensure alignment between designs and real-world conditions.

Provide technical support and input during the planning, design, and construction phases of projects
