Role: Project Officer
Based: Remote with occasional onsite work (travel expenses paid)
Rate: £20 umb
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Fixed term contract until 30.06.2025
Hours: 35 hours per week Monday to Friday
Our client, a specialist charity dedicated to ending domestic abuse and creating safer communities is looking for a Project Officer to join their team.
Synopsis of duties:
Organise and service meetings with key stakeholders, including minute-taking, scheduling, and maintaining accurate records.
Coordinate project enquiries and provide timely responses.
Liaise with stakeholders to ensure accurate information and resources are secured.
Support the health team in building effective, trusting relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, communities, and survivors.
Collate and input data accurately into databases that support the health team’s work.
Assist in data collection and reporting tasks as required by the Project Manager.
Develop relationships with data providers to ensure data delivery and broaden the scope of available data.
Conduct impact measurement activities in line with reporting requirements.
Assist Programme and Project Managers with data analysis and presentation related to health work.
Support the development of tools and resources for the effective implementation of the Whole Health Approach.
Help create and promote toolkits, training materials, and briefings.
Assist with health consultations led by Regional Leads, Programme, and Project Managers.
Collaborate with management and colleagues to ensure project responsibilities are met, including providing monitoring data to support team function, funding bids, and organisational activities.
Share external or partnership information with managers and team members as needed.Essential Requirements
In-depth understanding of domestic abuse, its dynamics, and its impact on survivors and their children.
Knowledge of the Coordinated Community Response to domestic abuse, with a commitment to multi-agency and partnership working to improve responses.
Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities, particularly related to domestic abuse.
Strong administrative skills, with experience providing remote support, managing schedules, and maintaining records.
Proficient in data entry, analysis, and report generation using Microsoft Excel (PowerBIexperience is a plus).
Experience collaborating with voluntary and statutory sector agencies to ensure effective partnership participation.
Skilled in collecting, maintaining, analysing, and presenting data for reporting and visualpresentations.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders, including survivors and partners.
Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
