Salary: £25-30 per hour, depending on experience
Employment Type: Full-time, with flexibility for part-time hours

Role Overview:

The successful candidate will provide high-quality physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with musculoskeletal conditions. The role involves managing a varied caseload, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring that treatment plans are tailored to individual patient needs. The position is full-time, but there is flexibility for part-time hours depending on the candidate s preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Comprehensive MSK Assessment and Treatment: The physiotherapist will assess and treat patients with a variety of musculoskeletal conditions, from acute injuries to chronic pain, using a combination of manual therapy, exercise prescription, and other physiotherapy modalities to optimize patient recovery.
• Personalised Treatment Plans: Developing bespoke treatment plans that are evidence-based and targeted to reduce pain, improve mobility, and promote long-term rehabilitation.
• Manual Therapy and Rehabilitation: Use hands-on techniques such as joint mobilization, manipulation, soft tissue therapy, and other therapeutic interventions to alleviate pain and restore movement.
• Exercise Prescription and Education: Prescribe tailored exercises that improve strength, flexibility, and function. The physiotherapist will also educate patients on the importance of self-management and lifestyle changes to prevent future musculoskeletal problems.
• Collaboration with Multidisciplinary Team: Work alongside other healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure coordinated, holistic care for each patient.
• Patient Support and Advice: Provide expert advice on injury prevention, pain management, ergonomic modifications, and healthy living strategies to ensure patients understand their condition and can manage it effectively.

Requirements:

• HCPC registered Physiotherapist with a valid qualification.
• At least two years of post-graduate experience in MSK physiotherapy.
• Strong knowledge of MSK conditions and treatment techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
