New Year - New Role?

At GI Group, we have an exciting opportunity for both experienced and newer drivers to join our client based in Warwick as a 7.5T driver. The ideal candidate will be placed on a temporary contract between February-April 2025.

Overview:

Handball is to be expected pushing trolleys and this position may include some multi-drop runs (Up to 10 per shift).
This is a temporary transfer position and training will be provided on the job.
The ideal candidate will need to be confident in completing vehicle checks and completing any required defects paperwork.
The ideal candidate will be confident in liaising with site to update them on any delays or issues should they encounter any.

Shifts and Hours:

Monday to Friday - No Weekends!
Start Times: 04:00-06:00am

Rates of Pay:

Monday to Friday - 14.00 / 15.68 per hour with holiday pay included
PAYE ONLY

Qualifications and Experience:

1. The ideal candidate will hold a valid HGV license with relevant certifications.
2. Previous experience as a HGV driver is preferred but is not essential.
3. Clean driving record and a commitment to safe driving practices.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
6. Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
