Manufacturing Engineering Assembly Process Engineer - Aerospace.
Our Aerospace client based in China, requires support in the form of an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Assembly Process Engineer. The successful candidate will work locally in China on a contract basis supporting a new aircraft program, working on Assembly process engineering. Candidates with a strong background and experience in this field with both metallic and composites structures experience, are invited to apply.
This will be an interesting role, allowing the Engineer time to see this part of Asia.
Qualifications and Experience:
A Doctoral degree and work experience of 2 years and above, or a Masters degree work experience of 3 years and above, or a Bachelors degree and work experience of 6 years and above.
Role and Responsibilities:
Under the leadership of the leader of the manufacturing engineering group, carry out the company's assembly technology related work.
Develop and manage the implementation of assembly technology programs and procedures, support the assembly process related to all technical work, and continue to improve the company's assembly process technology capabilities.
Independently identify the needs of the work package, carry out assembly program development, simulation and other related work.Required:
Familiar with aircraft assembly related engineering requirements and understand the details, with more than 5 years of aerospace work experience.
Ability to read and fully understand aerospace structural drawings, technical specifications, etc..
Required to have knowledge of aircraft structural assembly, understanding of the assembly of tools, equipment and tooling related knowledge.
Proficient in the use of CATIA V5/PLM, SAP, Microsoft Office and other similar software.
Possess analytical thinking, problem solving, decision making, communication and presentation skills and interpersonal skills to manage and work efficiently with highly skilled multidisciplinary international teams.
English will be used as the working language and barrier-free communication.
Can work independently and guide newcomers with professional knowledge
