We are seeking an experienced Planner to join a Tier 1 contractor working on a major civils infrastructure project in Essex. This is an exciting opportunity for a Planner to play a key role in delivering a high-profile and technically demanding project in the region.

About the role of Planner:

As a Planner, you will be responsible for managing the planning and scheduling aspects of this significant civils infrastructure project. This role is ideal for a Planner with a strong background in the infrastructure sector, looking to contribute to the successful delivery of challenging projects in Essex.

Responsibilities for Planner:

• Developing and maintaining project schedules and programmes
• Monitoring progress and updating schedules to reflect changes or delays
• Working closely with the project team to ensure timely and efficient delivery
• Conducting site visits to assess progress and alignment with the project plan
• Preparing detailed planning reports and presenting findings to stakeholders
• Identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies

Requirements for Planner:

• Proven experience as a Planner, ideally within the civils or infrastructure sector
• Strong knowledge of planning software such as Primavera P6 or similar tools
• Excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with the project team
• A proactive and detail-oriented approach to managing schedules and plans
