Electrical Improver

Location: Solihull - potential to work at Castle Brom and Wolverhampton when required.

Shift: Days – 40-hours per week + weekends

£18.50 per hour weekdays (CIS Available)

£22.50 per hour weekends (CIS Available)

The candidate will be responsible for the Electrical installations and modifications on site/facility projects.

Electrical Improver Duties & Responsibilities:

Electrical installation to drawing

Reading and understanding engineering drawings and schematics

Installation and modifications of cable trays, trunking and conduits

Installation and modification of power and data cables

Wiring of power and control cabinets and associated equipment

The ideal Electrical Improver:

Jib/ECS/CSCS Cards

Level 2 and working towards Level 3

IPAF 3a/3B

Previous experience of working on industrial electrical installation projects with a production or automotive environment

Equipped with own comprehensive tool kit for suitable tools for the role

Ability to work on various jobs on own initiative

Ability to follow set tasks set by Supervisor/Project Manager

Experience and wiliness to be paired with an apprentice/electrical mate

Able to install every type of standard containment used in the industry

Able to 1st and 2nd an electrical install ready for an electrician to test and power up

Knowledge of site safety
