Job Title: Sprinkler Fitter

Location: Chelmsford, Essex

Contract Type: 3 months’ contract – Nights

Salary: £280.00 per shift 9pm – 5am.

Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Sprinkler Fitter to join our team on a contract basis for a project in Chelmsford. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and testing of sprinkler systems across commercial sites. If you have a proven track record in the fire protection industry and are looking for a challenging contract role, this opportunity is perfect for you!

Key Responsibilities:

* Install, maintain, and service sprinkler systems in compliance with relevant safety standards.

* Conduct inspections and testing to ensure systems are operational.

* Interpret technical drawings and schematics.

* Ensure all installations comply with health and safety regulations.

* Work closely with the project manager and site team to ensure timely completion of tasks.

Requirements:

* Minimum of 2 years experience as a Sprinkler Fitter.

* Relevant qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds in Sprinkler Installation, or equivalent).

* Strong understanding of fire protection systems and regulations.

* Ability to read and interpret technical plans and diagrams.

* CSCS card (preferable).

* Full UK driving license.

* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
