Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver thought-provoking RE lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
• Encourage open-minded discussions and debates that challenge students to think critically about ethical and philosophical questions.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and tailored support to meet individual learning needs.
• Foster an inclusive and respectful classroom environment where all students feel safe to express their views.
• Participate in school activities, assemblies, and events to contribute to the broader school community.

About You
We are looking for a Religious Education Teacher with strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching. The ideal candidate will have the ability to engage students from diverse backgrounds and inspire them to explore complex ideas with curiosity and respect.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with specialisation in Religious Education.
• Proven experience teaching RE at secondary school level.
• Strong organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs.
• A proactive and reflective approach to teaching, with a commitment to student development.
• Flexibility and a willingness to be an active part of the school s community.
