Teaching Assistant - Chesterfield

Daily pay rate: £90-110 Per Day

Start date: ASAP

Location: Alternative provision High Peak, UK.

About you: You are a confident teaching assistant, with experience of working with pupils who exhibit challenging behaviour and often become dysregulated. You are aware of how to contribute to the provision of a safe and supportive environment with the ability to work flexibly. You have a professional approach to work with your mental health currently in a positive place.

Your role will include (but not limited too):

• To provide support and intervention to pupils, helping them to develop positive relationships with others.
• You will be required to support pupils both on-site and off-site ( potentially including Duke of Edinburgh activities).
• Support the delivery of the curriculum to ensure that pupils realise their full potential both socially and academically.
• Take pupils home in your car and use your car to carry out home visits or home tuition (Milage reimbursed).
• Working with other team members, agencies and parents/carers in a supportive and professional manner to best meet the needs of individual pupils.
• Strong resilience, and strong team player.

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS on the update service
• Must drive with access to a car with business insurance (or be willing to add business insurance if successful in your application).
• Confident in working with SEND and SEMH children.
