Learning Mentor – About the Role

As a Learning Mentor at this Primary School, you will be instrumental in providing tailored support to pupils, helping them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. You will work closely with teachers, SEN staff, and families to create an environment where every child feels confident and valued.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Supporting pupils to overcome barriers to learning, including social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.

* Developing and implementing individual support plans in collaboration with the SEN team.

* Providing 1:1 mentoring, small group interventions, and in-class support.

* Promoting positive behavior and self-esteem among pupils.

* Monitoring progress and working with teachers and parents to celebrate achievements and identify further needs.
