This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and qualified finance professional to contribute to strategic financial management while enjoying the flexibility of remote working.

Role: Interim Corporate Accountant

Day Rate: Competitive & Negotiable

Contract Length: 3-6 months (initially)

Interview Date: Monday, 6th January🔑 Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Budgeting: Lead the preparation, monitoring, and management of budgets to support medium- and long-term financial strategies.

Financial Reporting & Compliance: Ensure the production of accurate financial statements and compliance with statutory regulations and accounting standards.

Strategic Advice: Provide insightful financial analysis and guidance to senior leaders and elected members to inform decision-making and support council objectives.✅ What We're Looking For:

Fully qualified accountant (e.g., CIPFA, ACCA, ACA).

Strong experience in public sector finance, particularly within Local Authorities.

Demonstrated expertise in financial planning, reporting, and compliance.
