Multi-trader Roofer

Bath and Bristol

£22 per hour

Your new company

Operate in the social and commercial housing market as well as the care and support sector. Your new role

Voided and tenanted properties

Plumbing

Decorating 

Carpentry

Tiling 

Patch repairs

To correctly replace slates or tiles in isolated patches

Re-bed hip and ridge tiles,

Renew hip and ridge tiles.

Repair lead valley’s,

Point and repair chimney stacks.

Repair mineral felt and asphalt flat roof covering.

Gutter Clearance/repair and full replacement

Loft Insulation

Safe erection of scaffold towers and use of ladders

Using Easi-Dec (full Training will be given.)

Ensure all work is carried out within the allocated time frame and to a high standard and quality.

Comply and adhere to all Health & Safety regulations

Conduct yourself appropriately, ensuring the corporate code of conduct and brand guidelines are adhered to.

Ensure you maintain accurate job records and communicate all progress to colleagues.

Have an awareness of all things Health and Safety. What you'll need to succeed  

NVQ level 2 in a trade

Social Housing experience is a must

Able to communicate effectively to colleagues, client representatives and key stakeholders

To behave in a professional manner always

Ability to respond quickly and effectively to client requirements

To have a good understanding of key personnel of the client staff

To have a good knowledge of safe systems of work

Good problem-solving abilities

Be confident in using IT equipment and mobile working devices.

Demonstrate excellent and well developed roofing trade skill.

Demonstrate an ability to assess and make decisions for the benefit of the customer.

Demonstrate an ability to work well in a team environment and be supportive of others.

Evidence an ability to self-motivate, be organised and be committed to delivery against clearly defined targets.

Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Show flexibility, reliability and punctuality and a willingness to learn and develop.
