Facades Manager 

Location: Newcastle, UK

Salary: Competitive

Key Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of facade construction, from design coordination to installation and completion.

Liaise with architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure facade designs meet project specifications and regulatory requirements.

Oversee subcontractors, ensuring work aligns with quality, safety, and program milestones.

Monitor facade program schedules, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.

Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including safe working practices at height.

Conduct regular quality inspections, resolving any defects or issues promptly.

Provide technical advice and support during project delivery, troubleshooting complex issues.

Collaborate with the site team to integrate facade installation with overall construction activities.

Qualifications and Experience

Proven experience in managing facades on large-scale construction projects, ideally in student accommodation, residential, or high-rise developments.

Strong knowledge of facade systems, including curtain walling, cladding, glazing, and insulation.

Excellent understanding of UK building regulations and facade safety standards.

Degree or equivalent in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (desirable).

Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate teams and resolve conflicts effectively.

Proficiency in construction software and tools, including project management platforms and CAD
