Test Engineer, Hinckley, Leicestershire, Coventry, Warwickshire, 12-month full time contract

* A fantastic opportunity for a Test Engineer or Development Engineer to work within state-of-the-art automotive research and development facilities.

* 12-month full time contract role, up to £25.00 per hour (£41,900 per annum).

* Role would suit a qualified BTEC / NVQ or equivalent Level 2 and above Technician. Any experience of working within an automotive / vehicle repair, service, research, development, or test environment would be advantageous.

This Test Engineer job will suit:

* We are looking for an Engineer that has previously worked within a Test Engineer or Development Engineer role or a test engineering or development engineering or very similar engineering environment.

* Any previous experience of working within an automotive engineering or vehicle engineering environment would be advantageous but not essential.

* You will hold a relevant qualification (HNC / HND / Degree) in an engineering, automotive engineering, or similar discipline.

This Test Engineer job will involve:

* Working within state-of-the-art automotive test laboratories supporting the delivery of automotive R&D tests across a variety of vehicle programmes.

* Your role will include test scheduling, planning and execution, customer liaison, data analysis, proposal and report writing.

* Customer liaison – planning, overseeing tests, and providing data.

* Understanding and documenting test requirements.

* Test data analysis and verification.

* Producing test reports.

* Liaison with external industry bodies.
