Job Title: SEN Teacher (Full-Time/Part-Time/Contract)

Location: Telford, starting ASAP January 2025

Salary: £160 - £190 per day, depending on experience

About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced SEN Teacher to join a supportive school environment and make a real difference in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs. This flexible role offers full-time, part-time, or contract opportunities, with the position starting in January 2025. As a SEN Teacher, you will work closely with students requiring tailored educational support to help them reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, deliver, and assess differentiated lessons to meet the individual needs of students

Support students with a variety of learning, physical, and emotional challenges

Develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and regularly review progress

Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment

Work closely with parents, teaching assistants, and external professionals to support student progress

Promote positive behaviour and ensure students' safety and well-being

Adhere to safeguarding and child protection guidelines

Engage in continuous professional development (CPD) to improve teaching practices

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Experience working as a SEN Teacher or in a similar role

A strong understanding of SEN and differentiated teaching strategies

Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students and colleagues

Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding procedures

Strong organizational and time management skills

A passion for supporting students with special educational needs and helping them achieve their full potential
