Mechanical Fitter

Banbury

£25.00 per hour

MJM Industrial is hiring a Mechanical Fitter for a contract role based in Banbury, up until April 2025.

You must be experienced in mechanical maintenance and have previous experience working within an FMCG environment.

This role involves a mix of reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in a food manufacturing environment, ensuring smooth operations.

The ideal candidate will be available to start on Sunday 12th January.

Key Responsibilities:

* Run PPMs and breakdowns

* Proven track record with high-speed processing machinery

* Skilled engineer with a background in FMCG

* Skilled in fault finding (Ideally, electrical & mechanical)

* Able to work a rotating shift pattern, days, and nights.

Shift Pattern:

* 4 on, 4 off (Alternating Days & Nights)

* Nights: 18:00 – 06:00

* Days: 06:00 – 18:00

Contract duration: Until April 2025

Hourly Rate: £25.00 per hour
