About Us:

We are currently looking for a skilled Telehandler Operator to join our team on site, specifically to support our highways schemes and material handling operations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Operate a telehandler (up to 14m) to load and unload materials within the compound.

* Transport materials and supplies to various parts of the site as required.

* Ensure safe and efficient movement of goods, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.

* Organize and maintain the stock of materials, ensuring quick and easy access for the team.

* Assist with managing deliveries and ensure the timely unloading of vehicles.

* Keep the telehandler clean and well-maintained, reporting any faults or issues to the site supervisor.

* Ensure compliance with site-specific safety regulations, including PPE usage and site cleanliness.

Qualifications & Tickets:

* CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)

* Telehandler Ticket (Up to 14m)

* Driving Licence (Optional, but preferred for transportation purposes)

Key Skills & Requirements:

* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

* Previous experience working on highways schemes or similar large-scale infrastructure projects is highly desirable.

* Experience with loading and unloading materials and the safe operation of telehandlers.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.

* Knowledge of health and safety standards and the importance of compliance on construction sites.

* Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other site personnel.

* A proactive and adaptable attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
