Job Title: Homeless Assessment Officer

Location: Liverpool

Pay Rate: 17 P/H (Umbrella)

Hours Per Week: 35 Hours

Job Type: Contract - 3 months+

Liverpool City Council are currently looking for a Homeless Assessment Officer to join their team on a contract basis.

The Role

Conduct interviews and negotiations to prevent homelessness.
Provide housing advice and support to vulnerable client groups.
Ensure accurate record-keeping of statements and findings.
Collaborate with accommodation providers to secure solutions.

The Candidate

Proven experience in homelessness prevention, housing advice, and working with vulnerable clients.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interviewing skills.
In-depth knowledge of housing, welfare benefits, and relevant legislation.
Ability to think creatively and deliver practical solutions for clients.
