EXPERIENCED CNC OPERATOR

HU2 AREA OF HULL

12 WEEK TEMP TO PERM ROTATIONAL SHIFTS

Rotating shift
(5am-1pm)
(1pm-9pm)

11.94 + 10% shift pay (Per Hour)

We are seeking, on behalf of our esteemed client, a Glass Cutter to join their existing team. The Glass Cutter will be responsible for cutting and shaping glass using a variety of tools. The ideal candidate will have experience working with glass and operating over head cranes.

• Take measurements and mark material for cutting or shaping
• Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
• Marking out dimensions using patterns
• Marking out dimensions using patterns, scribing around the pattern or straight edge using cutting tools
• Smoothing out rough edges with a belt sander
• Work in accordance with process procedures, work order instructions, drawings, and other production documents
• Ability to follow the standard operating procedures in place to maintain safety and quality
• Maintain equipment.
• Maintain a safe, organised, and clean work area
• Ability to use precision tools to take accurate measurements
• Physically fit (this does require medium to heavy manual labour)
