On behalf of our client, we are recruiting for a structural engineer with 2-4 years UK experience. Their inclusive and diverse team is involved in some of the most prestigious and innovative projects both in the UK and worldwide. From sustainable office spaces and commercial properties to state-of-the-art healthcare facilities, award-winning retail developments, and large-scale residential communities, you will have the chance to make a significant impact on projects across a wide range of sectors. Additionally, you'll work on large, complex projects within the healthcare, residential, and commercial industries.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to gain valuable, hands-on building structures design experience on a daily basis. Their senior management team is eager to support an enthusiastic and ambitious Structural Design Engineer and help guide them toward senior-level progression. With clear pathways to chartership, they provide a diverse 360-degree workload to experience all aspects of structural engineering.
While we are open to applicants with varying levels of experience, the ideal candidate will have qualifications, experience, or skills in the following areas:
A relevant civil or structural engineering degree
Experience in producing calculations and specifications
Conducting technical reviews of drawings and junior team members' designs
Preparing tender and contract documents
Participating in coordination, design team, and site meetings
Experience with Finite Element Analysis
Familiarity with software tools like Robot, Masterseries, Etabs, Tedds, and CSC Fastrac Building Designer
