SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for an ongoing temporary Bank Reconciliations Assistant in Birmingham.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong numerical and organisational skills looking for short-term finance experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.
You must be immediately available or available on short notice to be considered for this opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations for multiple accounts, ensuring all transactions are accurately matched and recorded
Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies in a timely manner
Identify and escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate stakeholders
Update and maintain accurate records of reconciliations in the financial system
Assist with the preparation of month-end and year-end reports as required
Communicate effectively with internal teams, such as Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, to resolve outstanding items
Support ad hoc finance tasks as directed by the Finance Manager or senior team members
Key Experience :
Previous experience in bank reconciliations or a similar finance role
Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail
Proficiency in using accounting software and excel
Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines

Full Time 37.5hrs (Monday to Friday)
