Coba Education are recruiting for a Maternity Cover in a Church of England school in Northamptonshire, striving to maintain high levels of education within a caring Christian family which is at the heart of the community. We have a exciting opportunity for a class teacher to join the staffing team to teach, encourage and inspire the Reception class, and contribute to their warm and caring environment.

We are looking for someone who:

* Is enthusiastic, experienced, approachable and friendly

* is up to date with current research around Quality First Teaching and Early Years practice (Nursery and Reception),

* Ensures all children feel safe, happy and able to learn to the best of their ability and reach their potential,

* Is knowledgeable and has the skills to meet the requirements of the EYFS Framework, including a good understanding of Early Reading,

* Has the ability to develop effective relationships with pupils, parents and external agencies in order to support pupils’ smooth transition into school

* Is confident in leading a team, developing the vision and having the drive to move it forward

* Able to create a stimulating and inviting learning environment adapted to suit the needs of the pupils,

* Supportive of the ethos of a Church and Trust school.
