Teaching Assistant - Unqualified

A Holistic, Community School in Richmond are on the hunt for bright, enthusastic individuals to join as a teaching assistant from January 2025.

The school has previously taken graduates of Performing and Creative Arts as well as those passionate about the arts. Due to it's holistic nature, the school places focus on using creativity in all lessons and allowing students to follow their own interests. It is the perfect school for a fun-loving and personable candidate looking to gain experience in the classroom.

The ideal candidate would have experience supporting students with Autism as part of the role will see you support the development of a high achieving student with ASD. As such this role is also fantastic for those interested in Psychology as supporting SEMH is a key part of the role.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Teaching Assistant - Unqualified

Supporting children across EYFS, KS1 & KS2

Schools Direct opportunity on offer to the correct candidate

General classroom support

Working with a range of mild SEN: Autism, ADHD and Dyslexia

£105 per day - Term time only - Wednesday - Friday

ASAP start - No weekends

Located in the London Borough of RichmondPERSON SPECIFICATIONS

Strong Academics from GCSE to degree level is ideal, but can be subsituted for experience

You must have a clear passion for education as children, while showing a hunger to learn

Must be fully committed to the role
