The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Warrington area. We are looking for multiple experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C+E) to join the team.

Hours: PM & Nights – Shifts will run across Monday to Sunday

PM - Between 13:00pm- 16:00pm

Nights - Between 21:00pm - 02:00am

Pay Rates:

* PM: Monday – Thursday £15.50 / Friday £16.00 / Saturday £16.50 / Sunday £17.00 (all PAYE)

* PM: Monday – Thursday £17.37 / Friday £17.93 / Saturday £18.49 / Sunday £19.05 (Holiday Included)

* Nights: Monday – Thursday £16.20 / Friday £17.00 / Saturday £17.50 / Sunday £17.80 (all PAYE)

* Nights: Monday – Thursday £18.16 / Friday £19.05 / Saturday £19.61 / Sunday £19.95 (Holiday Included)

Location: Warrington , WA5

Job Type: Long term ongoing.

The role:

· Collect parcels from well-known customers, including full trailer collections, drop and swap operations.

· Handle occasional push roller cages as needed, assisting sites with movement when required (rare occurrence).

· Ensure all collections are completed accurately and on time.

· Maintain professionalism and excellent customer service during interactions with customers.

· Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.

Requirements:

· Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E).

. Minimum of 6 months experience driving the relevant vehicle.

· Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.

· No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

· Successful completion of assessment, including theory element which is two questionnaires based on drivers' hours and road laws and a practical element which will be based on yard reversing and a short driving test.

· Full understanding of WTD legislation.

· A safety-first mindset.
